Mark and I were doing a casual nine holes when we got to number nine red, at Willowbrook. I heard Jan bragging about his eagle and I got one. But number nine is a par 3, 110 yards. I made it in one shot which I think is also a HOLE IN ONE!! I used an 8 iron. It felt great. I'm still shaking. Maybe you guys should go to church once in a while and say a "Novena". I can teach you if you want me to!!

Saying Novenas Pays Off
Mark and I were doing a casual nine holes when we got to number nine red, at Willowbrook. I heard Jan bragging about his eagle and I got one. But number nine is a par 3, 110 yards. I made it in one shot which I think is also a HOLE IN ONE!! I used an 8 iron. It felt great. I'm still shaking. Maybe you guys should go to church once in a while and say a "Novena". Jeff congrats on your hole in one I wish I could have been there. This is the second hole in one that I know of. Mike Fortunato aced the par 3 at Turin on the #3 hole in which he dribbled the ball all the way there. In fact we didn't know it really went in until we got to the hole. I find it kind of a NOVENA way that 2 IHC girls basketball coaches have gotten a hole in ones. Maybe instead of wasting your prayers on golf maybe you should pray that you guys coach better?????? Jeff congrats again and please give some detail about it. Like did it hit the bridge and dribbled in from there or did it take take two hops hit the pin and dropped in or what? Give details. Congrats again!!!!!!!!!
Seriously how do you post something like hey i got a hole in one and nothing else i would be bragging phone calls would of been made people would of known. Give some detail or do we have to pray for that too.
Here are the details. We were having a very wet and ho-hum round when we reached #9. Mark went first and commented that he hated this hole. I said that I liked it. Mark said lets do closest to the pin and I said OK. His drive was pin high and to the left of the green. I hit an 8 iron short of the green but in line with the pin. It was like there was a magnet on the ball and it rolled ever so slowly into the hole., just like I planned it!! I went into the clubhouse and talked to Mr. O'Leary , with all my experience in holes in ones, I wasn't sure what to do. He took down the details. I started to explain the shot and he said as long as it went in on one shot, that was all they wanted to know. I am charging a nominal fee for lessons or autographs if anyone is interested!!
So he basically hit a worm burner that rolled in. No i am kidding nice job Uncle Jeffy
