Only the son of two teachers can have a very special birthday party consisting of a tour of the Fire Station and then have their child burn his fingers on the candles of his fire truck cake!!! Ouch, see his face in the picture. Good God didn't Jake remember to tell him not to play with fire!!! Seriously, after a hectic Christmas the tour of the Fire Station was very worth while and I would recommend it to anyone. Jake the Fireman and his buddies are great. The adults had just as much fun as the kids. Then it was home to Jay & Amy's for snacks, ice cream and cake. All had a good time and the kids ..... well with 101 toys in the house, who wouldn't have a good time.

Great idea for a party. Perhaps next time you can invite Uncle Joel, he is very good with matches.
I dont remember my trip to the fire station being as much fun as this but then again remembering is not my forte Jess do you remember???
