Justyn, Jaymeson, Julia and Julian finished season I soccer tonight. Wow, I am not sure if it was more of a challenge for the parents or the players but let's just say Julian doesn't lick the entire glass with his tongue anymore and his arms are 2 inches longer from being pulled by his mother up and down the field; Julia has gone from looking pretty and waving at her family through the window to scoring her first goal tonight; Jaymeson who didn't really want to be on the field last year really knows the game and isn't afraid to mix it up, although he is usually the one that hits the ground; and Justyn seems to like goal keeping rather than running up & down the field and has actually managed to stop at least one out of ten fired at him!!!! As for the parents: Amy, Jess and Patsy deserve a medal!!!! Nice job guys - what ever happen to Uncle Jared???

Only the son of two teachers can have a very special birthday party consisting of a tour of the Fire Station and then have their child burn his fingers on the candles of his fire truck cake!!! Ouch, see his face in the picture. Good God didn't Jake remember to tell him not to play with fire!!! Seriously, after a hectic Christmas the tour of the Fire Station was very worth while and I would recommend it to anyone. Jake the Fireman and his buddies are great. The adults had just as much fun as the kids. Then it was home to Jay & Amy's for snacks, ice cream and cake. All had a good time and the kids ..... well with 101 toys in the house, who wouldn't have a good time.
Age proved better than youth in the annual IHC Alumni Hockey Game held at the Watertown Municipal Arena on this past Friday evening. Anthony proved he still has some skill but who wouldn't be in shape chasing those twins around!!! Anyone who graduated more than 5 years ago played some youthful whipper snappers, one of their players plays for an elite prep school and may get a tryout for the NHL. However, even though the elders squandered their lead by letting the other team catch up they pulled it off in the end with the shoot out. Way to go #7, Anthony!!!!
Dunc and his friends decided to take in the first snow storm of the season a few weeks ago. It was a day packed with sleding, hot cocoa and some of Maimie's delicious cookies. Even his Jensey got in on the action and didn't seem to mind the weather.
In case some of you were wondering, yes, now that the holidays are over, I have some catching up to do. Also, beware, Grama delivered a giant bag of pics that she wants to see posted. As they get scanned, they will appear.
"Dunk" St. Croix seems to be taking after his great grandfather Mylo by considering the fine art of Zamboni Driving. Like the song says: "I want to drive the Zamboni....". I think Dunk should make his debut tonight at the IHC Alumni Game at 9:00 p.m. Come on down if you want and support Uncle Tone-dog who will be playing. We will have to work on getting Jess out there next year!!! Good luck to all but don't expect to see Dunk on the Zamboni as the Union won't allow it and we all know Big Papa will support the Union!!!
