We just returned yesterday from our annual trip to Ottawa for Winterlude. We got some good pictures so I thought this would be a good time for our first post. When we arrived on Thursday, Obama was in town. According to the front desk, they had to shut down the entire airport with no traffic at all for Airforce 1. Friends of ours who were on their way to hotel past the procession and said he actually had his "bulletproof cady" flown in for travel! But we said "Obama-shamama" we have bigger sites to see. We headed for the girl's first hockey game to see the Sens take on Vancouver. The Sens got smoked....yes hero, again.....but we had a blast. Julia was chanting with me, "Heat-ley, Heat-ley". We even managed an autograph (from the mascot "Sparty")! Friday we spent hanging out at the hotel swimming, eating and napping. We split the penthouse suite with my brother so that was an experience in itself. Saturday we took on the ice slides in Quebec. The girls took a trip down one by themselves for the first time. Some people choose hot weather, fun and sun for February break. We go north....but we still ran into Cinderella's vehicle. Somehow I don't think this coach would make in Orlando.

Nice pictures....It is nice to see someone adding to the blog. The next time you are in Carthage you can show Hero that knows zero about how to post. I like the SENS pictures, it is too bad Alfie didn't get to play!!! The stadium looked full. Thanks for sharing.
Jill nice pictures and it sounds and looks like you all had a good time. If you visited BOSTON during their winterfest and were bruin fans maybe the home team would have won????? Jill maybe you and the girls can come up for a visit and show us how to put some pictures on the blog since nobody else wants to?????? I'm glad you guys all had a good time!!!!!!
Nice pictures Jill, and like your father said it's nice to see the family on the blog. Too bad Ottawa wasn't playing the Rangers, you may have won...
Let's get a few things straight(not you uncle jan)
1) You are right, I do have beef with that area you live in Hero. I do admit that I am happy that my wife is happy with her job, it's a big difference from her days at Belleville. I don't belive in the way they do things there.
2) How many times have you been to Watertown since you asked me to do that for you? That's what a thought. IF you want it bad enough you'll stop by and check it out. The blog on your computer is the same taht is on mine so it will b ethe same process.
3) Ant, excellent pics. You can tell that you were happy as a clam with the kids there. I know the feelind from taking DUnc to Yankee stadium and RIch stadium. BY the way, how much did it cost you at the concession stand?
4) Speaking of getting low, has anyone seen Hero lately. You might have missed him because he lost so much weight. Seriously, who am I going to call the walrus this year...myself? GOod job Hero, keep it down (your wieght and missle).
Wow Hero look at the welcome back you get. Remind me not to ever leave the blog. Hero if you are losing weight how are you ever going to keep up with the big dogs you better go out and grab yourself a 7W and whatever other clubs you seniors use.
Pictures are great. Looks like every one had a great time. What great memories you are making for your kids. Too bad with such a great rooting section the team does't do better. The shirts are great and the slides look like lotz of fun. Glad to see you broke up the winter a little. We've had too much snow.
Saint 8 keep running your mouth I'm looking forward to kicking your butt. Maybe I'll get Jan to get a cheering outfit so he can root for his brother like he did in the Somba. We all know how his game is.......
I held my team together at Somba along with Ryan, ask Jerome. It was the Nephew/Uncle outing that I rooted on my brothers to the victory, not you Hero. Saint 8 I no longer have a 7W. Weather update; 30's snow mostly gone, if we get some sun, I would bet 3 weeks courses open.
See i knew you would be good at that job keep the reports up. Cant wait to get out for a few warm up rounds.
