A blast from the past. I was told that Howard's Restaurant was shown on a Jefferson County website with many City landmarks from the past. Little did we know that Nana's place was considered an important City establishment among Churches, mansions, hotels and other places. For you youngsters it is now called Schuler's but not the same as when Howard E. Traynor ran it!!!! Right bros???Tuesday, April 22, 2008

Did you notice the car?
Great post, many fond memories of Howard's growing up.
I agree with Jan about Howards Restaurant being a great post;however, I also remember the times the two older brothers went over to Howards all the time when Jon, Jan, and Joel always had to stay home!!!!! Yes sir "great memories"......
Boo Hoo, maybe if you would have eaten your veggies at home instead of dumping them down the register you would have been allowed to go to a fine food establishment. Besides you use to walk over whenever you wanted anyway!!!
I have that same picture on a postcard I found in an antique shop in Watertown a couple of years ago. There is a little write-up on the back. So apparently Howards was quite the place! I will have to scan it and send it to you all.
Does anyone else think my Dad may be a bit bitter about being a "middle" child???!!!
