Hope everyone has been practicing their strokes for the '07 tournament! Looks like we have an early withdraw from Matt who won't be stroking the "golf ball" anyways for a little while. What do the pairs look like for this year? Any word yet? Looks like this pair could use a handicap...Jeff what do you say can you help these boys out? Mark you can open your eyes playing with your father is enough of a handicap. Will Matt designate a replacement for him? Let's see there is Papa, Jay, Tony and oh I know what about Jessie's future husband. I hear he can sing and dance but I don't know about golf!!!! Remember we are an equal opportunity tournament ever since Jared & Jan took part!!!! Just kidding. Let's hear about some stories from last year to let everyone know what really goes on while you golf.

Jayson, It's been a struggle to pick teams fairly since injuries are popping up and out and some people are not playing up to "par" (mainly you since Jon has beaten you so badly the last 2 times). We need to know from each family who will be playing to finalize the teams. Any and all recommendations are welcomed, you can post comments here. Tony has to work but promises to request it off next year. Jessie's fiance, Ron is not a golfer but could sing the national anthem??
Listen, I would threaten wo whip you butt, however, i don't want to make Tony jealous and besides, you might like it to much. As far as teams goes, I offered the family package to the ranking official for this year. The family plan is that all the families will fill out the 4somes (quit drooling anonymous)and everyone else will combine to make a 4some (Again, whoever gets aunt janice, be careful). For instance, i would take Jess, Jared, and Anthony( b/c he is family whether Uncle homo admits it or not). But that was shot down b/c the ornery one said that he couldn't stand his 7 brothers and would prefer not to golf with any of them. It doesn't matter anyway, because if Craig Stadler errrrr Uncle Homo continues golfing his 4 times week, no body can beat him. We all know that he wouldn't choke under pressure, he's a Red Sox fan and we know they never choke. They come through once every 100 years.
I really like the idea of pitting the families against each other however, do you really think it would be fair; I mean we may as well hand deliver the trophy to you prior to the tournament. When you use words like ornery you will need to put a thesaurus look up in here for Craig Stadler. As I read your reply, I guess I do bring the game out of you.
I was just wondering if females were able to play as well or just males, it does not matter either way. I am sure beck would like to play if she can.
i would like to see a finalized roster of teams but then again when you playing golf everyday of the week you might not have time to do these things.
i believe someone said golf is a good walk spoiled.i guess they did not know it was the amounts of strokes that count and if fewer is better i will take uncle jon.

That's pretty deep there Saint8...I wonder how you are able to think that metaphorically. Somebody can let Becky know that she can golf in the SOMBA, however, she has to clearly mark her flying ladies as Anonymous might get his ball confused if they are on the same team.
Hey Everyone! I hope I am leaving this the right way, I've been on this a few times trying to leave a comment and can't figure it out. duh. Anyways I am really excited for everyone to meet Ron! He can't golf...no but he can sing! We got engaged a couple of weeks ago.... and I just found out last week that I'm pregnant! So we have been busy and excited! See everyone at SOMBA!

Congrats Jessie dont worry about not being able to use the computer it took time for your uncle to learn how and some of them still dont fully understand it(uncle jon) thank god he's got eva.I think that is sweet that you are going to name the child after me but you really dont have to. Congratulations Jessie!!! If you need a trial run while you are here for the SOMBA Jensen will allow you to get a few sleepless nights. If she wasn't so damn cute we might have returned her. She is just like her father, ornery as hell.
