March Major Man Days

I say this because March only holds 2 days to celebrate unless I missed one of Jon's kids or something else. Both of the dates belong to men, I guess March does belong to St. Patrick!

March 18 - Jeffrey James celebrates 54 years and as part of his St. Patty's celebration/birthday may he turn to his lovely wife and say: "That's not a shaleilleigh in me pocket - I'm happy to see you!"

March 30 - Landen celebrates his 2nd birthday and his advice to us is "A windy day is not the day for pissing."

Ella celebrates ONE!!!

The party wasn't hard to find in West Carthage. All one had to do was call FIRE and it wasn't because Hero was overheating again. This time it was for the little candle on Ella's first birthday cake. Apparently, any party more with more than 12 people constitutes a public assembly in West Carthage and the party has to be held at the Fire Hall. I was kind of glad because parking would have been a premium and the 6 residents in town might have been upset seeing all the cars. Ella had a great party and loved her cake. Who says you can't have your cake and eat it too!!!! Eat up honey or someone right behind will be!!! There HERO I posted for you again!!!!

Matt St. Croix returns to JCC

No, he hasn't changed jobs again and no, he isn't giving his former assistant JCC Coach Charlie Bridge any assistance. This time he will be returning to take on our local big gun cannoneers community college in hopes of extending his season. Matt will be bringing his flock of Hawks to take on a strong JCC team which appears to be peeking at the right time. The game will be tough and each coach knows each other but we all wish Matt the best. Game time is 8:00 pm this Friday at the JCC gym. Those attending are advised to wear hard hats and be alert for flying clips boards!!! Buy a vowel at the door and you can sit with Gina!!!!

The Netto's Invade Ottawa

We just returned yesterday from our annual trip to Ottawa for Winterlude. We got some good pictures so I thought this would be a good time for our first post. When we arrived on Thursday, Obama was in town. According to the front desk, they had to shut down the entire airport with no traffic at all for Airforce 1. Friends of ours who were on their way to hotel past the procession and said he actually had his "bulletproof cady" flown in for travel! But we said "Obama-shamama" we have bigger sites to see. We headed for the girl's first hockey game to see the Sens take on Vancouver. The Sens got smoked....yes hero, again.....but we had a blast. Julia was chanting with me, "Heat-ley, Heat-ley". We even managed an autograph (from the mascot "Sparty")! Friday we spent hanging out at the hotel swimming, eating and napping. We split the penthouse suite with my brother so that was an experience in itself. Saturday we took on the ice slides in Quebec. The girls took a trip down one by themselves for the first time. Some people choose hot weather, fun and sun for February break. We go north....but we still ran into Cinderella's vehicle. Somehow I don't think this coach would make in Orlando.

The "ST.CROIX TOUR"

Seeing how warm weather is hopefully just around the corner i think the trash talking and golf talk should soon begin. I just wanted to throw this out there and seeing how jan has so much time on his hands he is in charge. What you need to do is find out where we can play. With the additions of the money list and a invitational in St.Croix it should be fun this year. Hopefully we can get out a few times before we leave in may i could use some spending money in St.Croix. And for all you not going not to worry there will be chances for you to lose your money to me when we get back.

Bryce's 1st Birthday Party

Bryce celebrated his 1st birthday at Papa Saint's in Cohoes Tuesday night. He squealed, played, enjoys his food (meat man but likes his chocolate cake too), and walked up a storm. He likes to open presents and has quite the enthusiastic reaction, not shy for attention at all!!. Jessie, Erinn, Tony and I were very entertained.

Nana and Myah

I feel like I am in a foreign country when these two carry on a conversation because neither make any sense but they both seem to understand each other. Myah giggles when Nana says Jayme and says me not Jayme ha ha!!!! Nana thinks Myah is really smart when actually he is more like a parrot repeating whatever she says. Whatever the day or whatever the mood he always give her a kiss and a bear hug before he leaves. God love them both.....

Bryce's First Hair Cut

It is okay Bryce, Uncle Jay will take care of you!!!! Here is a picture of Bryce after his first hair cut. I am really surprised Mom being "so protective" allowed him to go into the salon with all those chemicals and etc..... must be Mom needed a little touch up also. Just kidding Jessie!!!! He looks good, almost as good as if Big Papa would have done it (minus a few nicks he would have left). So was he good, did he cry and did he get a treat!!!! Let me know Bryce when you need another posting!!!!!

Jill gets Dad back into Cakes

You know me I can never say no especially when Jill told me that Patsy's wife asked her to do a cake. I figured anyone married to him needs all the help she can get so we both said yes. Here are some pictures of the cake. Those of you who think Jill is weak in math let me tell you she had perfect angles on the home plate and bases!!! She didn't like my "H" goal post and made her own "Y" that even survived her tumble down each of her front steps (save the camera, pocket book and cake decorations while her butt hits every step)!!! Thank goodness she didn't have the cake. All in all it came out pretty good even after a few cracks and moves in her driving it to the location. The kids loved eating all the parts like the goals, balls and hat that could be devoured. Jon will appreciate the scoreboard and hat as Patsy did!!!!

Super Bowl Pools - Anyone win???

The word on the streets is that Jay and Amy's kids are pretty lucky. Julian won one Super Bowl Pool Square for $25 and Jensen won two for $50. I know they were paid off but did Jayson let the kids keep the money, take it for himself and not tell Amy or did both parents take their kids earnings???? I know he shares his golf earnings only so Amy will let him go again but this little bit of income was not known and could easily have been stashed away. I sure Dunk would like to buy a new toy and Jensen well she could go out and buy some fudge!!! Congratulations kids - I am only writing this so when you get bigger you know what your parents did with your winnings.

February Celebrations

Hey, it is February 1st and after winning 2 squares on the Super Bowl Pool I needed something else to do rather than pray for certain score changes. So here are this month's special days:

February 4 - Jan and his twin SSJ (This stands for the Sisters of St. Joseph or Super Sperm Jon, I will let you decide!!! Jon's b'day cake will read: "51 and still having fun!!!").

February 6 - Josh (hoping for a brother for 2 boys in his family on his 22ND. If you believe in numbers 2-6 is Josh's day so the 2 could be the number of boys out of 6 so far????).

February 7 - Ella Jean turns 1 with no time to spare before her sibling comes along. Jon it really would have been neat if they could have been born in the same year. Oh well next time.

February 20 - Bryce Xavier turns 1 and now the fun starts, Jessie.....

February 21 - Jo Ann and Jay will celebrate 33 years of heavenly bliss.....well 33 years of togetherness anyway!!!! How lucky we truly are!!!!!

February 25 - Erinn celebrates her 20th birthday. Next year you will be able to have your first drink oh what am I thinking!!!!! Well legally anyway.

February 26 - Jensen turns 2. If Amy and Jay thought she is bad now just wait until her terrible twos kick in!!!!!

February 26 - Jenny celebrates her day. I hear she asked Jon for a snip for her birthday....does anyone know what she is talking about????

February 27 - Michael celebrates his 22ND. Twenty two 2/27/09 Will you be playing any of these numbers Mike? Oh craps!!!!
