JD comes into town to rock WHS

JD from West Genny came into town two days before Christmas with his fellow team mates and handed the towel to the WHS JV Team. I thought his defense was great and he is not afraid to mix it up as the pictures show. It was really nice to have the opportunity to see him play. I would have stayed for the varsity game but it was standing room only when the Fazio family came in to support their cousin. The only one that didn't end in a vowel in that section was Matt!!!

Birthday Celebration for Nano

I'm announcing a birthday brunch for Nano to celebrate her 98th brithday. Her birthday is the 3rd, but we are celebrating on New Year's Day at Noon. Party is at Rose and Jeff's house and lots of good food and good times are promised. Hope to see everyone there.

Emergency on Cooper St

Hey thanks Uncle Jan. My daughter is in hysterics b/c she devoured your fudge and now it is gone. What are the odds of you sending the recipe? I'm not kidding, she ate the entire bowl but for 3 pieces that Mommy and I wrestled away from her.

Happy Birthday Justyn

Justyn celebrated his special day with a small cake and ice cream party with his family. He will have a fun party after the holidays. We all had a good time and the kids enjoyed getting together. Happy 7th birthday, Justyn.

Happy Birthday Jared

The big 3-0 for Jared was celebrated on Friday night with a surprise party at the Hoover Inn in Evans Mills. A good time had by all and they even kept me out past my bedtime. I hear Jared was not only surprised but had a drink to celebrate each year. I also hear Gabby may be getting a new purse for Christmas.....one that is not "pea" green but is waterproof. Hope you got cash for your b'day Jared and piss it away!!!! Happy Birthday.

Ice Storm in Cohoes

An ice storm hit the Capital District knocking out power to 240,000 people. I know you Watertownians had a similar situation and the working crews say your storm was worse but this storm affected alot more homes because of population. Bryce, Jessie and Erinn joined us at Cohoes as we were fortunate not to lose any power. They got power on Sunday morning. The pic is a neighbors branch that hit our kitchen, the screen protected the branch from making quite an entrance but the birds love the added landing area. Happy Holidays!

My Christmas Tree in Stage II

This is my tree before the grandchildren decorate it. You see I promised the grandchildren they could help so Tuesday night they can stop go to work on making the best Christmas tree ever!!! I could have very easily decorated it but Christmas is all about the children and those children can clock in anytime after 5 p.m. but they can't clock out until the job is done!!!! My tree has the perfect shape, size and will have the perfect heirloom symbols on Tuesday night. By the way Papa and Grandma had the first decorated tree and how do I know this ...... because I keep in touch with MY Dad!!!!

Merry Christmas From Cooper St

Holiday greetings from the Cooper St Gang. I know that the tree is a branch compared to our usual tree but never the less the kiddies absolutely love it. After nearly 3 hours and 2 sets of happy hands the decorating was complete. Notice the master piece that is behind the hoodlums, yes it is a real working train that is always a hit. Just remember this one thing this holiday, it's not the tree that makes the house for christmas, it's the house that makes the tree!!! Pretty good considering I don't even hang out at Saint8's.
