Jess & Becky celebrate their anniversary

Jess and Becky celebrated their anniversary in Lake Placid. Jared and Gabby went along to assist them. The views were great according to Jess who noticed the buck on the side of the hill as they headed up the mountain. Thank goodness he didn't have his gun. Once on top of the mountain Jared announced it was the highest he had ever been on the solid ground!!! Well we won't go down that road.....but I am glad all had a good time. Happy anniversary.

Julia's 5th Birthday

Renting the YMCA gymnastic room for a birthday party was fun. The kids all went and played in the foam pit or hung from the bars (not the kind Josh hangs from). The jumped, they ran, they climbed, they made me exhausted just watching them. When it was time to eat they were all sweaty and hardly moved. It may have been a high school musical theme but I think it should have been the kids Olympics!!! Hell, we may even rent the place for day here and there this winter.

Rilee's Birthday and his Dad's too!!!!

As Rilee turned 4 his father kept quiet because they didn't have enough candles or room on the cake for him. I didn't know Rilee was such an army guy. We'll have to get Becky and Jared to give him a Fort Drum tour the next time he is up this way. Jerome tells me the storm trooper outfit was one of his requested gifts. His other request is for me to get my facts right before I post as he is turning 4 not 3!!!! Sorry Rilee, I should have known you were born before the twins, that is what I get for late night postings. I notice Dad didn't correct his age so I guess that was right. I hope you had a great day.

Rilee heads to preschool picture

Please thank Jerome for sending us a picture of Rilee at preschool. He must take after his mother because I think Jerome's preschool picture has Mom's leg in it or was that Jim's? Just kidding....I am sure this guy will be having all those preschool girls chasing him....I am sure glad he is not in the twins class.

Happy Birthday all those on September 22

I can only supply a picture of Becky celebrating her special day this Sunday with pie rather than cake!!! Jerome and Rilee should post their celebrations (e-mail me and I'll post if needed). I would dare say that September 22 is the most popular birthday in our family but then again all one would have to do is hit the twins birthday. Happy birthday Jerome, Becky and Rilee! I hope Rilee gets cake and ice cream!!!

Nicholas

Thought you might enjoy some new pictures of Nicholas who will be eating from the table any day now. He may be a solid breast man now but those tatas won't keep him satisfied for long the way he is growing.

Twice as Nice

Julian and I had so much fun tailgaiting at the Ralph 2 weeks ago for the Bills game, that when the oppurtunity arose for him to bring back his friends he jumped on it. Yes, I know that it is difficult to believe that they are giving away SU football tickets, but Fred was mgiven 7 on friday. Dunc showed the boys, sissy and Tula how to tailgate. Seats weren't that great but they were free and we all had a blast. The kids were well behaved and all came home sporting orange hair and giving thier parents the finger. Uncle Jess taught us how to make "cheesy weiners" and I think we set a record for peeing in a bottle. Oh, and most importantly, Papa Jay's new car came home without a scratch or ding, stain or any engine noise!!!

Today the grandkids did trains, boats and automobiles.

We missed the planes but we either took or saw every other transportation today. We went to Clayton to see the train show by Papa's new automobile. After that we went to see what a real boat looks like. I think I'll look into one when I retire and if I hit the lottery at least 5 times in row!!! We ran into some old friends, the Dermady's in Clayton and saw several more people from Watertown we knew. Good time and we even stopped by to buy some corn from an Amish lady. Justyn tried to take a picture of her but was blocked by his Mom. Justyn also took the train pictures and boat.

Blues Brothers? How about the blue tongue twisted sisters?

These two are proud to display their blue tongues after stopping for a blue raspberry slush. The only two that didn't want a cone......just not right that a kid doesn't want ice cream. How is a grandfather going to help the lick while sampling all the cones????

Eva on her first day of school

Eva is already to go.........to school. I was told she is saving her I love Aunt Amy shirt until jr. high. Don't worry Jon the new jr. high is hand-i-cap assessable. You look cute Eva, Mom must have dressed you!!!!!

Double trouble heads to school.....

The twins, Hannah & Jennah, made it through school and their mother made it through the day as well!!! With only two babies at home (Anthony is sick) she must have had a very relaxing afternoon. These two proved everyone wrong as they went without clinging to Mom so either Dad is the one that makes them cling or maybe they just liked school!!! The teacher did make a request to dress them in different colors or put their names on their shirts but hey we all know what she is up against. All I can see is these two going into high school but I would bet they won't dress the same and will be like Mom and show a little more leg......Jill did you teach them how to roll a skirt yet????

Papa Jay's morning with Dunc

If anyone needs a walking wake up call please call Dunc. I have the privilege of taking Dunc to school on Tuesday and Thursday which means he comes around 6:45 am until school at 8:00 am. Before he enters the house you can hear him on the approach and his lips never miss a beat until I leave him in the classroom. As you can see we had a good time: breakfast, check in on Nana (he found her hiding taking her morning constitution-sorry), off to watch his cousins go to school, leave Papa's new car for school, enter school and punch in for the school day. Oh by the way if you are ever as lucky as me and you get to take Dunc for a short time in the car......don't bother turning the radio on as he sings, gives you traffic updates around town. work progress and even has his own internal GPS and will tell where you can go after each turn you make!!!! Can't wait until Tuesday......
