Memorial Golf Outing

Early monday morning 5/26/08 a few of the clan went golfing in Boonville New York. Jeff, Jon, Jan, Jess, Saint8, Matt, and Micheal came to this outing and golfed and golfed and golfed and golfed some more.....I can't quite remember the scores but I do know Hero was on fire on the front 9(43 1 birdie). Micheal won the back 9(46). Saint8 won total(44+48). It was a little surprise not to see Jess, Jeff, Matt, and especially Mr. Eagle Jan on the scoreboard. Thanks Jan for giving back the donation Saint8 and I gave you 2 weeks ago. Jared enjoyed the gas money and I enjoyed the lunch in which I always do......It was truly a memorable outing especially when you hear stories about how family members hold on to purses???????? Thanks for the fun guys and I hope we can get together soon......

Visiting Uncle Jon

Uncle Jon can no longer say that no one visits. The Netto troop stopped by twice in one day. The dogs just love it when they stop for a visit!!! Nothing more beautiful than a handful of girls and Jenny's garden.

EAGLE Search

OK, Mr Jon.... Let's see how many of the St. Croix golfers have actually had an eagle since you indicate that everyone has had one. I posted my first a few weeks ago (489 par 5, hole #10) and I am not counting the eagle I saw perching on a tree in Cohoes. Certainly, everyone should remember where they posted their eagle/s and should provide us with some detail, location, which hole, clubs, etc.. I used a 3 wood, 3 wood and 1 putt. I know Jayson posted one on a par 4 on the back 9 in Turin a few years back, sad part is that I don't believe he actaully saw it, but I did.

Boring

Well all you bloggers out there it has been nearly a week and no one has posted a new blog or anything. I am starting to wonder why i bother to check this everyday oh yeah it kills time at work. Seriously we have a huge family 2 parents, 8 brothers(if you count Jan) most with wives, all with children , and some of those children with children. The point i am getting at is your telling me no one has five minutes to wrtie something on here to let everyone enjoy or even make fun of some one, with a brother or uncle or son like Jon this should be easy, any way i am done i have killed enought time at work hope everyone enjoys or doesnt get too mad.

Mark makes his Mark

It seems little Mark can play with the BIG guys. He wasn't afraid to go head to head with the big guys despite a size disadvantage. He must take after someone other than brother Matt that's for sure. They played WHS with no rest as there weren't any subs. Talk about sucking it up!!!! Nice job Mark, I hope you enjoy the pictures. Let me know if you want any blown up to poster size for your brothers for Christmas.

NEWS FLASH!!!! Jared & Gabby Engaged

Jared, yes Jared has thrown in the towel to bachelorhood. He popped the big question to Gabby tonight and she said yes. He went out this morning and asked her parents and we didn't hear any gun shots so we all thought this was good sign. He took his bride to be out for a nice meal and as they discussed not having things to wear I understand he threw the ring and asked she could find anything to wear with that!!!! She said yes. We will update later with pictures of the happy couple and I'll put the zoom lens on for a picture of the rock!!!! Congratulations Jared and Gabby. Just remember Jared the last one out of the house gets to take care of the parents. Make sure Gabby knows this!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Blogger Buys House

It seems one of the few bloggers that actually comments on this blog wanted us to mention under "Special Days for MAY" that he is buying a house. I thought this giant step to playing house deserved its' own headline so now you know Jared and Gabby will soon be moving into their own house.....

A nice little house for Jared to play in and take care of..... a very very fine house as the song goes with 2 dogs in the yard and ..... who knows what may be next. Here is a picture of the real house Jared will be moving into. During the tour Gabby wasn't sure which of the bedrooms she would be using and which one Jared would use. Look for a house warming party in the future and Jared planting flowers in the front yard, decorating his outdoor Christmas tree and shoveling the walk. Oh how sweet it is..............

Congratulations Jared, Gabby, Scoop and Tucker.............

Anyone know where the nearest soup kitchen is?

Well, Dunc and I were treated to a special night last night. We arrived in NYC for his dr appointment and low and behold mommy surprised us with Yankee tickets. It was a pleasent surprise especially coming from someone who hates baseball. So we boarded the subway for the bronx and transferred trains like a couple of seasoned vets as we spotted some of NYC finest...the RATS. Those suckers were pretty big! We arrive at the stadium a little early for some shopping and eats and ask dunc if he wants to get some pizza or a sandwhich and he says no. Those of you who have made this trip pretty much know the locale. So we cross River Ave and start heading to the main gate and dunc spots a hot dog cart. Now's he hungry...and thirsty. Keep in mind Amy and I haven't ate since breakfeast, so we get up there and he gets a foot long(see pic) and a water, $9.75. Amy lost what little appetite she has. Me, I hang in there for some left overs. There were no leftovers, he ate the whole damn thing. It was good though, we killed about a half hour and let him run around a little before we went into the Clubhouse store. After some more shopping, we go in to watch BP where he spots peanuts. I held him off b/c i knew it would kill at least an inning once the game started(come to find out it killed about 4 innings as he ate about a bag and a half and plucked and littered his little heart out). Anyway Amy and I are both hungary, so once we get to our seats(which were half way to the "Top of the Rock") I go and get us 2 slices and some fries a water and a coke, $30. The game still has not started and already we have spent more on food than on the tickets. Once the game starts the bottomless pit reminds me that he doesn't have his peanuts yet, so we go and get the peanuts and those bastards are popping corn right next to it. Yup, we got both, $13. Back to our seats we go and Dunc settles in and actually is very well behaved for a 3 year old sitting for 3 hours with no where to go. About the 5th inning his peanuts are done, popcorn done, fries done and he sees cotton candy. Yup, $8.50 later he got his candy(oh the beer guy was right next to him and I indulged for $9). It was awesome though, he loved the "game"( I am not sure if the game was to see if how he could eat, or watching mom have heart attacks every time he wanted to eat). He might not have been able to tell you the score of the game or who they were playing or who was shouting A-hole and fighting, but it was litterally priceless. Come to find out, the 4 train came to River station about 17 times( you can see the station from the seats), there were about 15 "big jets daddy", and a few helicopters. The 120 block subway ride home was a different story with some 'shaddy' charcters patrolling the cars. I don't think my wife will be expierencing that any time soon. I can't thank her enough, it was awesome and my son loved it.
