Aliyah's First Birthday Party

Aliyah celebrated her first birthday with approximately 75 friends and family. Great time, food, cake and presents. Face painter was fantastic. So glad so many could make it. I don't know if I had more fun watching the kids or Jared running a birthday party for my granddaughter. He and Gabby did a great job and I think they could handle another with no.... problems.

Thanks to all who thought of Gram over the holidays and her birthday. I don't always get thank you notes out as time is so short these days. As you can see she is still pretty good but short term memory is gone so it is hard. It is so nice that her great great grandchildren get the chance to be part of her life.

Christmas Season Now

Now that Thanksgiving is over let the Christmas season begin. I took advantage of every second today to start the Christmas decorations. Almost finished them which wasn't bad considering I had grand kids all day and night as well as taking care of Gram all day. It was help Jo Ann with kids, throw something up and then run over to Gram's to assist her. By end of the day she was a little out of sorts with me coming and going. I thought she would be exhausted from taking her to Syracuse to the funeral home yesterday. Oh well hope to finish tomorrow or a little bit here and there as time allows. Glad Thanksgiving weekend is almost over and hoping the Christmas season is a little better.
